Re-programme your brain and stop any annoying habits

Habits & Addictions

A habit is a routine of behaviour that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously.

If you have an unwanted habit or addiction such as biting nails or teeth grinding, it may feel as if you are out of control, as though there is something inside of you that is making you do this.

However, you are in control at a subconscious level and Alan’s integrative therapy, in particular hypnosis, can help to re-programme your brain and stop any annoying habits.

Addictions

Addiction is defined as not having control over doing, taking or using something to the point where it could be harmful to you.

Although addiction is usually associated with gamblingdrugsalcohol and smoking, it is possible to be addicted to just about anything.

Here at the Yorkshire Wellness Centre we believe that, addiction is a treatable condition whatever the addiction. If there is a genuine desire to change, we offer a range of therapeutic services in order to gain a thorough understanding of the underlying reasons behind the addiction, what triggers a ‘feel bad–distract’ cycle and how to break it.

Gaming & Social Media leading to Mental Health Issues

We originally made contact with Alan as my 17 year old son was experiencing anxiety and lacked confidence and self-belief which was leading to poor results in his A-Level studies.

With the style of therapy and coaching used, Alan is really quick to develop a rapport and uses a range of tools that have a massive impact in a short period of time. He provides the explanation of how our minds work in a way that is relatable and effective. Setting challenges each week such as getting back to sporting activities has broken the cycle of spending excessive amounts of time playing computer games.

Other therapeutic tools have enabled my son to release the negative, disempowering beliefs which were holding him back. If you are prepared to engage with the process the results are incredible and equip you with the tools to understand exactly how to create an empowering mindset.

We can’t thank Alan enough, he has been such a positive influence and we are delighted that after two months we have seen such an increase in my son’s confidence and focus on his studies…
