Have you ever worried about a future event, playing it through in your mind like a well run film, generally with a negative outcome? Have you ever experienced a feeling of extreme panic where you just wanted to run away or were frozen on the spot with fear? If so then it is likely that you are one of the estimated 5% of the UK’s population that suffers from over anxiety.
It is natural to have feelings of anxiety at some point in our life. However, some people find it hard to control their anxiety and find themselves anxious about a whole range of issues such as socializing, work matters, medical tests and the list goes on. The feeling of anxiousness becomes so prominent and constant that it often affects their daily lives.
The aim of this workshop and hypnothermal session is to promote a feeling of calmness and mindfulness when feelings of anxiousness dominate your mind. The workshop will help you to understand the causes of anxiety, how your body responds to anxiety and how to reduce anxiety by introducing a coping strategy designed to melt away those negative images and alter your physiological response to anxiety. All cocooned in a safe, warm and welcoming space.
